Hey! I'm an illustrator by trade; a graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology and experienced in both digital and traditional art. You might find my work in the NYC area and up and down the Jersey Shore, usually in restaurants. I've designed for clients including McCormick Spices, Bloomingdale's, Asbury Park Boardwalk, Booskerdoo Coffee & Baking Co, Ithaca Hummus, Asbury Park Bazaar, Cooper & Cooper, Nuts.com, and several restaurants, bakeries, cafes and bars. My work ranges from murals, to packaging design, to, as you can see, art made from food.
Being around food both at work and at home, it didn't take long to see how both the foundations of traditional artwork and food photography were the same - balancing shapes, textures, colors; creating movement, weight and balance from whatever happens to be in front of you. Often with the help of photographer Alana Roolaart, and more recently the videography of my sister, Sandie LiVolsi, I've explored the world of food and prop styling, creating content with the same bold strokes and saturation as my traditional work. My food styling clients include Nuts.com, Ithaca Hummus, Eggland's Best, Explore Cuisine, and several private restaurants in the NJ and NYC area.
